Mozart was born on January 27, 1756 and died on December 5, 1791. When he was very young, Mozart was called “the wonder boy”. One day at the age of three, Mozart listened to his sister play a piece of music at the clavier. The clavier was an early kind of piano. Mozart sat down and played the same piece all by himself. When he was four, Mozart started taking music lessons. At the age of five, he began to write his own music. But some people didn’t believe that a little boy could write such beautiful music. Once they asked him to stay in a room all by himself for a week and somebody watched the room all the time. In the week, Mozart finished a new piece of music. After that, people believed that he could write beautiful music.
