China made a new scheme(计划) to control the rise in nearsightedness(近视)—or myopia among children and teenagers for their health and the nation's future.
The scheme aims to keep the myopia 11 among 6-year-old kids at around 3 percent by 2030, the incidence(发生率) among primary school kids 12 to below 38 percent, and the rate among high school students fall below 60 percent and 70 percent.
