Module 1 How to learn English
Unit 1 Let’s try to speak English as much as possible.
Learning Objectives:
After class, Students can
1.Understand and master instruction words in class and respond while hearing them.
2.Master key phrases/expressions and their usage.
Important teaching point:1. Instruction words in class; 2.set phrases.
Difficult teaching point:“practice doing .., match…with…, make mistakes (in)…, try to do …,etc.”

Teaching Procedure
Step One Lead-in
Check the words and expressions on P137.(pair----understand)
Step Two group work
Ask students to read the instruction words in Activity 1 and understand them
Step Three Guessing work
T presents some pictures and ask students to guesswhat instructions they are.
Step Four Discussion (Group work)
T asks students to discuss the other instruction words we have learned. Then students answer them.
Step Five Activity 2
T presents some questions and asks students to listen and answer them.
Step Six Key points
1. T plays the tape about three conversations, students listen and answer them.
2. T asks students to find out key points.
3. T explains key points , students take notes and make sentences about them.
