1.achieve一般只用作及物动词,指排除各种困难、障碍而完成宏伟的目标。如achieve a goal意为“实现目标”;achieve a dream意为“实现梦想”。其同义词组为come true,意为“实现”,是不及物动词词组,一般由物(理想、愿望等)作主语。例如:
My dream has come true.我的理想实现了。
2.achieve的名词形式为achievement,意为“成就;业绩;实现,达到,成功”。例如:
We felt a great sense of achievement when we reached the top of the mountain.当到达山顶时,我们感到一种巨大的成就感。
