1. see v. 看见
see sb. do sth. 看见某人做某事，强调看到动作的全过程。
see sb. doing sth. 看见某人正在做某事，强调动作正在进行。
类似用法的动词还有feel, hear, watch等。如：
I often see him play soccer on Sunday afternoon. 我经常看见他在星期日下午踢足球。
2. hope v. 希望
hope to do sth. 希望做某事。如：
Betty hopes to study Chinese in Peking University. 贝蒂希望在北京大学学中文。
hope+ that 从句，that可以省略。如：
I hope (that) you will come to my party. 我希望你来参加我的晚会。
