(一)中国传统食物的起源(2014,辽阳)
China is famous for delicious food.Do you know the history of the following Chinese food?
Dumplings.It is said they were invented as a kind of medicine by Zhang Zhongjing,a famous doctor of the Eastern Han Dynasty (朝代).The medicine was called quhanjiao'er tang (祛寒娇耳汤).It was helpful to the chilblain (冻疮) on the ears.People ate them on the New Year's Day to express their happiness.Later,it turned into a tradition till today.
Deepfried dough stick (油条).It was invented in the Southern Song Dynasty.After hearing the death of Yue Fei,common people hated Qin Hui and his wife.They made two flour figures (面人儿) which meant Qin and his wife.Then they put them into the hot oil and fried (炸) them.Today,in some areas,some people still call them Deepfried Hui or Deepfried Gui.
