Chinese-American film maker Ang Lee won the Academy Awards(奥斯卡金像奖)for best director for his Life of Pi(《少年派的奇幻漂流》)in February 2013. It’s the 1 Oscar for Lee, the first was in 2005.
In a case of history repeating itself, Ang Lee won the 2 director Oscar at this Academy Awards, beating Steven Spielberg as he did back in 2005 when the two were last nominated. Back then, Lee’s work on Brokeback Mountain bested Spielberg’s drama Munich(《慕尼黑》).
Lee is the first and only Asian 3 who has won best director Oscar twice. It is closely related to 4 hard work and willpower.
