考点1 并列连词
并列连词主要用来表示并列关系、选择关系、因果推理关系等。也可用来连接平行的词，词组或分句。
1.常考并列连词
and(2011年25题考查)“和”，表并列或顺承关系
John, work hard and you will make much progress. 约翰,努力学习，你就会取得更大的进步。
but（2009年30题考查）“但是”，表转折关系
I'd love to but I'm afraid I have no time.我很想去，但是恐怕我没有时间。
or“或者或否则”，表选择关系
Hurry up, or you'll miss the plane. 快点，否则你就赶不上飞机了。
for (or) so“因为/所以”，表因果关系
The dress was very expensive, so I didn't buy it. 那件衣服太贵了，所以我没有买。
