1.       Free talk:

(1)    Where do you live?

(2)    Where would you like to live, in a modern city, in a small town or in the countryside?

       (Let students speak out as many reasons as possible.)

2.       Show some pictures to learn some new words and expressions: underground, a country park, tall buildings, be close to, Star Shopping Mall, souvenir, local restaurants, western restaurants, Beijing Duck, Beijing opera, theatre

3.       Read the new words after the teacher and finish Part B on P28, and then check the answers.
